APSARA National Authority plans to complete the restoration of the east gate of Pre Rup temple by the end of 2021​-24 August 2021

APSARA National Authority plans to complete the restoration of the east gate of Pre Rup temple by the end of 2021

APSARA National Authority is restoring the southern part of the damaged east gate of the Pre Rup temple, which started in February 2021.

The restoring work is quite challenging due to the complex structure of the temple, which requires a lot of attention, especially reinforcement techniques on the weight support and retaining of the walls of the temple. So far, more than 60 percent of the restoration has been completed and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2021.
