APSARA National Authority is embarking on the restoration process of the Takav Gate -24 Jun 2021
The Takav Gate is one of the five gates of the Angkor Thom in the west of Bayon temple. The gate was built by using sandstones and laterites with smiling four-faced tower, up to 23 meters high. As per the corner of the gate, there was a sculpture of the Indra on the three-headed elephant and there are god and giant sculptures along side the bridge just outside the gate.
