APSARA National Authority is installing bats protection net at Preah Poan gallery- 25 August 2021

ថែវព្រះពាន់ ជាទីតាំងដ៏សក្ការៈមួយនៅប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត។ ថែវនេះមានសសរច្រើន និងលម្អដោយចម្លាក់ក្បូរក្បាច់ ប៉ុន្តែថ្មប្រាសាទបានរងការខូចខាតដោយបញ្ហាទឹកនោម និងលាមកនៃហ្វូងសត្វប្រចៀវ។

 

លោក សយ សុភារិន្ទ ជាបុរាណវិទូ ទទួលបន្ទុកកិច្ចការអភិរក្សនៅប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត និយាយថា ក្រុមការងារកំពុងអនុវត្តគម្រោងដាក់សំណាញ់ការពារសត្វប្រចៀវ កុំឱ្យទុំនៅផ្នែកដំបូលនៃថែវ។ មូលហេតុសំខាន់ដែលសម្រេចឱ្យរៀបចំកិច្ចការនេះឡើងព្រោះទឹកនោម និងលាមកសត្វប្រចៀវ នៅពេលមានសំណើមឬលាយទឹក បានបង្កើតជាតិអំបិល ដែលសារធាតុនេះងាយនឹងធ្វើឲ្យថ្មមានការពុកផុយ។

 

កន្លងមកអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា ធ្លាប់បានរៀបចំបែបនេះនៅកន្លែងផ្សេងហើយ ឃើញថាការបាំងសំណាញ់នេះ មានប្រសិទ្ធភាពខ្ពស់ ក្នុងការទប់ស្កាត់សត្វប្រចៀវមិនឱ្យចូលទុំនៅផ្នែកដំបូលប្រាសាទតទៅទៀត៕

Preah Poan Gallery is a sacred in Angkor Wat. The gallery has many pillars and is decorated with carvings, but the stones have been damaged by the urine and feces of bats.

Mr. Soy Sophearin, an archaeologist in charge of conservation work at Angkor Wat, said that the team is working on installing nets to prevent bats from staying on the roof of the gallery because the urine and feces of bats mixing with water, which can produce the salt that is prone to the stone decomposition.

The APSARA National Authority has organized this project in other places and it is highly effective in preventing bats from entering the roof of the temple.
