នៅរសៀលថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ តាមរយៈគម្រោងគ្រប់គ្រងទឹកអង្គរ ប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព និងចីរភាព ដើម្បីធន់នឹងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ និងសង្គម-សេដ្ឋកិច្ច (AWR) ដែលជាកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការជាមួយប្រទេសណូវែលហ្សេឡង់(New Zealand) អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាបានរៀបចំសិក្ខាសាលាស្តីពី «ទឹក និងប្រាសាទ» ជូននិងប្រគេនទៅដល់ព្រះសង្ឃ និងពុទ្ធបរិស័ទនៅតំបន់រមណីយដ្ឋានអង្គរ ចំនួន៤៥អង្គនិងនាក់ នៅក្នុងបរិវេណវត្តគោកធ្លក សង្កាត់គោកចក ក្រុងសៀមរាប។
ពិធីនេះមានការនិមន្តចូលរួមជាព្រះអធិបតីពីសំណាក់ព្រះសុមង្គលសិលាចារ្យ ជុំ គឹមឡេង ព្រះមេគណខេត្តសៀមរាប និងជាព្រះប្រធានក្រុមប្រឹក្សាកិច្ចការវត្តអារាមនៅក្នុងតំបន់ឧទ្យានអង្គរ មន្ត្រីសង្ឃ ព្រះសង្ឃ និងការចូលរួមពីតំណាងអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា អង្គការពុទ្ធសាសនាដើម្បីអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ រួមទាំងមន្ត្រីពាក់ព័ន្ធមួយចំនួនទៀត ។

APSARA National Authority Organizes Workshop on “Water and Temples” through the Angkor Water Resilience Project (AWR)
On the afternoon of February 11, 2026, the APSARA National Authority, through the Angkor Water Resilience Project (AWR) in collaboration with New Zealand, organized a workshop on “Water and Temples” for 45 monks and lay Buddhists in the Angkor Wat area. The workshop was held at Wat Kok Thlok, Sangkat Kok Chak, Siem Reap City.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Venerable Chum Kim Leng, Chief Monk of the Mohanikaya Sect in Siem Reap Province and Chairman of the Council of Monks on Angkor Pagoda Affairs. The event was attended by monks, representatives of the APSARA National Authority, Buddhist organizations for development, and other relevant officials.
The workshop aimed to educate and raise awareness among monks, abbots, pagoda committees, and lay Buddhists about the vital importance of water for temples. It also sought to encourage greater participation in protecting water sources and promoting the economical and sustainable use of water. These efforts contribute to the proper maintenance and conservation of the Angkor World Heritage Site and support its long-term preservation.
