សារមន្ទីរវាយនភ័ណ្ឌប្រពៃណីអាស៊ីមានលក្ខណពិសេសជាងសារមន្ទីរផ្សេងទៀតនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា គឺការដាក់តាំងបង្ហាញកីតម្បាញមកពីប្រទេសជាច្រើន ដូចជាប្រទេសឥណ្ឌា ប្រទេសឡាវ ប្រទេសភូមា ហើយឧបករណ៍ទាំងនោះមានលក្ខណៈពិសេសរៀងៗខ្លួន ដោយបច្ចេកទេសធ្វើឡើងទៅតាមលក្ខខណ្ឌបរិបទនៃបរិស្ថានផ្សេងៗគ្នា។

The MGC Asian Traditional Textiles Museum has brought the weaving tools, which are used for silk weaving after getting from the silk nests, to be displayed to the public, and tourists to visit, understand and contribute to the maintenance of Khmer weaving tools since mid-February 2023.
Sen Kimsun, acting director of the MGC Asian Traditional Textiles Museum, said that this exhibition is the result of the cooperation between the APSARA National Authority and UNESCO in Cambodia through the GIZ Foundation of Germany. This silk weaving tool, with its silk fabrics, is made following the standard and elaborate carvings. Mr. Kim Sun said that the presence of Khmer Weaving Tools in the MGC Asian Traditional Textiles Museum is an important contribution to the preservation of traditional Khmer weaving equipment throughout the country because the weaving industry has evidence of prehistoric people living in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Mr. Kimsun stated that this traditional Khmer Weaving Tool can provide benefits to the public, and tourists to study and understand the heritage of Khmer ancestors that have existed for a long time. The weaving exhibition is not only for visitors to see the Weaving Tools, but the museum experts will explain each stage of the weaving process to show visitors and allow them to try weaving to find out more about how to weave in the traditional Khmer way.
The MGC Asian Traditional Textiles Museum features more than any other museum in Cambodia, exhibiting textiles from countries such as India, Laos, and Myanmar, and the tools are technically unique according to the conditions, and context of different environments.
In the future, the MGC Asian Traditional Textiles Museum also intends to bring some weaving tools from the northeastern region of Cambodia to display for the public.
