ពលរដ្ឋខ្មែរមួយគ្រួសារដែលកំពុងរស់នៅឯប្រទេសកាណាដា បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្តរួមគ្នាបរិច្ចាគថវិកាមួយចំនួន ដើម្បីជួយដល់ដំណើរការជួសជុលរូបចម្លាក់ថ្មទេវតាទាញព្រ័ត្រចំនួនមួយនៅខ្លោងទ្វារតាកាវនៃក្រុងអង្គរធំ ជាមួយអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា ដោយសារតែទឹកចិត្តស្រឡាញ់ មានបំណងចង់ចូលរួមអភិរក្សប្រាង្គប្រាសាទបុរាណ និងជាសម្បត្តិបេតិកភណ្ឌដែលជាស្នាដៃដ៏មានតម្លៃរបស់បុព្វបុរសខ្មែរឱ្យស្ថិតនៅគង់វង្សជាបន្តទៀតសម្រាប់កូនខ្មែរជំនាន់ក្រោយ។

ស្ថាបត្យករ និងជាក្រុមការងារបច្ចេកទេសជួសជុលខ្លោងទ្វារតាកាវ កញ្ញា ម៉េង សុវណ្ណលីលីន បានសម្តែងការត្រេកអរ និងថ្លែងអំណរគុណ ចំពោះពលរដ្ឋខ្មែរ ដែលកំពុងរស់នៅប្រទេសកាណាដា បានជួយឧបត្ថម្ភចំពោះដំណើរការជួសជុល អភិរក្សនៅខ្លោងទ្វារតាកាវនេះ។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន ក្រុមការងារនៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា កំពុងបន្តជួសជុលរូបចម្លាក់ទេវតាទាញព្រ័ត្រតួទី៨តាមរយៈជំនួយថវិកាពីសប្បុរសជនខ្មែរ នៅប្រទេសកាណាដានេះ។ ប៉ុន្តែការងារជួសជុលរូបទេវតាទាញព្រ័ត្រនេះ មិនអាចធ្វើបន្តត្រឹមតែតួទី៨ប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ គឺចាំបាច់ទាមទារឱ្យមានការជួសជុលតួទី៩ ស្របពេលជាមួយគ្នា ពីព្រោះតែរចនាសម្ពន្ធខ្លួននាគទី៨ និងទី៩មានទំនាក់ទំនងនិងគ្នា។

គម្រោងជួសជុលខ្លោងទ្វារតាកាវមានពីរផ្នែក គឺដំណាក់កាលទី១ ក្រុមការងារបានជួសជុលពង្រឹងតួខ្លោងទ្វារ និងដំណាក់កាលទី២ គឺជួសជុលចម្លាក់ទេវតានិងចម្លាក់អសុរាទាញព្រ័ត្រនៅអមសងខាងស្ពានហាលបានចំនួន៧តួរួចហើយ។

Cambodians living in Canada donated money to restore a statue of the balustrade at Takav Gate

A Cambodian family living in Canada has donated some money to support the process of restoring one statue of the balustrade at the Angkor Thom’s Takav Gate with the APSARA National Authority to preserve the heritage treasures, which are the valuable works of the Khmer ancestors, for the next generation.

Ms. Meng Sovanlylin, an Architect in the technical team for the Renovation of the Takav Gate, expressed her happiness and gratitude to the Cambodian family living in Canada for supporting the conservation process at the Takav Gate. Currently, the restoration team of APSARA National Authority is continuing to repair the statue of the 8th Teva statue with financial support from the Cambodian family in Canada. However, the work of restoring the statues of the Teva statue could not continue only with the eighth statue, it was necessary to repair the ninth once at the same time because the structures of the eighth and ninth statues were related.

The Takav Gate restoration project has two phases: in the first phase, the team has restored and strengthened the gate structure, and the second phase is to restore the statues of the balustrade on either side of the causeway.

The Takav Gate’s causeway is hundreds-year old and threatened by the weather, war, lack of maintenance as well as the growth of large trees, causing many statues of the balustrade to collapse. Due to the dilapidation, the Takav gate is temporarily closed, firstly for the safety of travelers and secondly, because experts are continuing to carry out the renovation process.
