The Ad Hoc Experts of the International Coordinating Committee for the Safeguarding and Development of the Historic Sites of Angkor and Sambor Prei Kuk (ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk) continued their inspections of key restoration works across the Angkor site on 7 December 2025.
During the visit, the delegation of international experts and senior leaders of the APSARA National Authority—including H.E. Dr. Hang Peou, Director General of the APSARA National Authority, Deputy Director Generals, and technical colleagues—examined several major conservation activities. These included the restoration work at the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat, preparations for the lightning protection system throughout the Angkor Wat complex, and the development of building infrastructure at the Northern Angkor Pagoda. The experts also inspected the Angkor Interpretation Center and the ongoing restoration efforts at Chorm Temple.
