អ្នកស្រី Bridgette Walker បានថ្លែងនៅក្នុងការប្រារព្ធខួប៧៥ឆ្នាំនេះថា ក្នុងរយៈពេល៧៥ឆ្នាំមកនេះ សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកនិងកម្ពុជា បានក្លាយជាដៃគូនៃកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការផ្នែកស៊ីវិលជាច្រើន ដូចជា ការជួយលើកកម្ពស់ផ្នែកសុខភាពសាធារណៈ ផ្នែកអប់រំ ជួយជំរុញកំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ច ការវិនិយោគទុន ព្រមទាំងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការរួមគ្នាផ្នែកយោធា ហើយនិងជួយដល់ការងារអភិរក្សវប្បធម៌និងសម្បត្តិបេតិកភណ្ឌជាដើម។

H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, and Ms. Bridgette Walker, Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia, presided over a celebration marking the 75th anniversary of Cambodia–U.S. friendship at Kravan Temple in Siem Reap Province on the evening of December 8, 2025.
In her remarks, Ms. Bridgette Walker highlighted that over the past 75 years, the United States and Cambodia have become partners across a broad range of civilian cooperation, including public health, education, economic growth, investment, military cooperation, as well as cultural and heritage preservation.
Dr. Sackona noted that 75 years of diplomatic relations and friendship have made Cambodia and the United States steadfast partners in their shared commitment to peace and development. She emphasized that Cambodia’s cultural heritage represents one of the world’s great civilizations, and for decades, the United States has been an important partner in safeguarding it. Through the World Monuments Fund (WMF), the United States has supported numerous cultural conservation initiatives, including the protection of manuscripts, traditional arts, historical education, and the restoration of ancient temples such as Phnom Bakheng, Preah Khan, and Ta Som.
