ថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ឯកឧត្តម ហង់ ពៅ អគ្គនាយកអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា លោក NAGASE Kensukeភារធារី នៃស្ថានទូតជប៉ុន និងលោក Flavio Boneti ប្រធានការិយាល័យតំណាងអង្គការ UNESCO ភ្នំពេញ បានដឹកនាំកិច្ចប្រជុំ Steering Committee លើកទី១ របស់គម្រោង JASA ដោយកិច្ចសហការរវាងអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា ទូតជប៉ុន អង្គការយូណេស្កូ សាកលវិទ្យាល័យ Waseda ប្រទេសជប៉ុន ក្រោមជំនួយថវិការបស់ប្រទេសជប៉ុនតាមរយ:អង្គការយូណេស្កូ ដែលមានថវិកាចំនួន ៩០០.០០០ដុល្លារ (ប្រាំបួនរយពាន់ដុល្លារសហរដ្ឋអាម៉េរិក) បានជួបប្រជុំពិភាក្សាគ្នាជាលើកដំបូង ក្នុងការរៀបចំគម្រោង ដើម្បីអនុវត្តន៍កម្មវិធីអភិរក្សជួសជុលប្រាសាទបាយ័ន ជាពិសេស គឺការសិក្សាស្រាវជ្រាវអំពីរូបចម្លាក់នៃថែវប្រាសាទបាយ័ន និងការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលអ្នកជំនាញ ក៏ដូចជា ការផ្ទេរនូវទិន្ន័យនានា ដែលអនុវត្តកន្លងមក នៅប្រាសាទបាយ័ន និងប្រាសាទផ្សេងៗទៀតដែលក្រុមការងារគម្រោងប្រមូលបាន៕
On June 11, 2026, H.E. Dr. Hang Peou, Director General of the APSARA National Authority, Mr. Kensuke Nagase, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia, and Mr. Flavio Bonetti, Head of the UNESCO Phnom Penh Office, co-chaired the first Steering Committee meeting of the JASA Project.
The meeting brought together representatives of the APSARA National Authority, the Embassy of Japan, UNESCO, and Waseda University of Japan to discuss preparations for the implementation of the Bayon Temple Conservation and Restoration Project. The project is funded by the Government of Japan through UNESCO with a budget of US$900,000.
Discussions focused on key activities of the project, including research on the sculptures in the galleries of Bayon Temple, capacity-building and training programs for specialists, and the transfer and consolidation of data collected from previous conservation and restoration work at Bayon Temple and other temples by the project team.
The project aims to strengthen efforts in safeguarding the outstanding cultural heritage of Bayon Temple while enhancing technical expertise and promoting the sustainable conservation of Angkor’s monuments.
