On August 25, 2025, in Siem Reap, H.E. Dr. PHOEURNG Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and President of the Board of Directors of the APSARA National Authority, together with senior leaders of the Authority, attended a consultation meeting on the management of the Angkor and Tonle Sap sites.
The meeting was chaired by H.E. Say Samal, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, and brought together representatives from the Siem Reap Provincial Authority, the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, local authorities, and other relevant institutions.
