អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាដំឡើងចម្លាក់បង្កាន់ដៃនាគផ្នែកខាងជើងនៃស្ពានហាលប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត APSARA National Authority restores the Naga balustrades on the north side of Angkor Wat’s causeway​-06 March 2023

ក្រុមការងារអភិរក្សថ្មរបស់អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា កំពុងជំរុញការងារជួសជុលចម្លាក់បង្កាន់ដៃនាគដែលសាងឡើងពីថ្មភក់ ចំនួន២ ប្រវែង៥០ម៉ែត្រ នៅផ្នែកខាងជើងស្ពានហាលមុខប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត ដោយរៀបចំដាក់ទីតាំងដើមឡើងវិញឱ្យបានមុនថ្ងៃបុណ្យចូលឆ្នាំខ្មែរខាងមុខ ដើម្បីបើកឱ្យភ្ញៀវទេសចរជាតិ អន្តរជាតិចូលទស្សនា។

បើតាមការបញ្ជាក់របស់លោក អន សុភាព អ្នកទទួលខុសត្រូវការដ្ឋានជួសជុលបានឱ្យដឹងថា ចម្លាក់បង្កាន់ដៃនាគទាំង២នេះ ស្ថិតក្នុងគម្រោងជួសជុលស្ពានហាលអង្គរវត្ត ហើយត្រូវបានរើចេញជាបណ្តោះអាសន្ននាពេលកន្លងមក។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន ដោយសារគម្រោងជួសជុលស្ពានហាលអង្គរវត្តត្រូវបញ្ចប់រួចរាល់ ក្រុមការងារត្រូវយកចម្លាក់បង្កាន់ដៃនាគទាំងនោះមកធ្វើការជួសជុលពង្រឹង និងដំឡើងនៅកន្លែងដើមឡើងវិញ។

គួរបញ្ជាក់ផងដែរថា បង្កាន់ដៃនាគទាំងនេះ ធ្លាប់ត្រូវបានធ្វើការជួសជុលម្តងហើយនៅសម័យបារាំងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៤៩ ដោយប្រើជើងទម្ររចាស់ខ្លះ និងធ្វើជើងទម្រថ្មីខ្លះៗមកដំឡើងឡើងវិញ៕

The APSARA National Authority’s stone conservation team is working to restore two 50-meter-long sandstone Naga balustrades on the north side of Angkor Wat’s causeway. The team will finish the restoration work before the coming Khmer New Year and open it for national and international tourists to visit.

Mr. An Sopheap, an Archaeologist and Head of the Working Group in charge of Angkor Wat Temple’s causeway restoration project, said that the two Naga balustrades are in the Angkor Wat’s causeway restoration project and have been temporarily removed in the past. Currently, as the Angkor Wat’s causeway restoration project has been completed, the team has to take those Naga balustrades to restore to the original place.

It should also be noted that these Naga balustrades were once repaired during the French period in 1949, using some old pedestals and some new pedestals to install.
