កាលពីពាក់កណ្តាលខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាបានធ្វើការជួសជុលទបង្ហូរទឹក ផ្នែកខាងកើត ប្រាសាទនាគព័ន្ធ ក្នុងរយៈពេលជិត២ខែកន្លងមក កិច្ចការងារនេះបានបញ្ចប់ដោយជោគជ័យ និងកំពុងបន្តការងារជួសជុលទបង្ហូរទឹក ផ្នែកខាងជើងវិញម្តង។

លោក អ៊ិច ស្រេង ស្ថាបត្យករនៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា បានឱ្យដឹងថា ចាប់ផ្តើមពីដើមខែសីហា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤មក ក្រុមការងារជំនាញ បានបន្តការជួសជុលទបង្ហូរទឹក នៅផ្នែកខាងជើងនៃប្រាសាទនាគព័ន្ធ ដើម្បីពង្រឹងរចនាសម្ពន្ធនៃទបង្ហូរទឹក ដែលប្រឈមនិងគ្រោះថ្នាក់ ឱ្យវារឹងមាំគង់វង្សយូរអង្វែងទៅមុខទៀត។
លោកថា មុននឹងចាប់ផ្តើមការជួសជុល អភិរក្ស ទបង្ហូរទឹកទាំងនោះ អ្នកជំនាញបានសិក្សាអំពីស្ថានភាពគ្រឹះ សម្រង់ប្លង់គោល របស់ទបង្ហូរទឹកនីមួយៗ ដើម្បីចង់ដឹងអំពីទំហំនៃភាពខូចខាត ទើបចាប់ផ្តើមជួសជុលដោយយកតាមលំនាំពីបុរាណ រក្សាអ្វីជាភាពដើមនៃសំណង់ ជ្រើសយកថ្មី មកជំនួសថ្មចាស់ ក្នុងកម្រិតទាបបំផុត រួចចាប់ផ្តើមជួសជុលពង្រឹងគ្រឹះខាងក្រោមនៃទបង្ហូរទឹកជាមុន ដោយសារមានសភាពទ្រុឌទ្រោមខ្លាំង ទើបបន្តទៅជួសជុលនៅផ្នែកជណ្តើរវិញម្តង។ ជាជំហានបន្ទាប់ ក្រុមការងារនឹងបន្តទៅជួសជុលទបង្ហូរទឹក ផ្នែកខាងលិច នៃប្រាសាទនាគព័ន្ធនេះ ដើម្បីធ្វើយ៉ាងណាឱ្យរចនាសម្ពន្ធរបស់ទបង្ហូរទឹក និងជណ្តើរ រួចផុតពីហានិភ័យ។

In mid-June 2024, the APSARA National Authority successfully completed the restoration of the eastern shrine of Neak Poan Temple, a project that took nearly two months. Following this accomplishment, the restoration team has turned its focus to the northern shrine, which is now undergoing essential repairs.

Mr. Ech Sreng, an architect with the APSARA National Authority, announced that work on the northern shrine commenced in early August 2024. The team aims to reinforce the structure, which has been identified as at risk due to deterioration.

Prior to initiating the restoration, experts conducted a thorough assessment of each shrine’s condition, including damage evaluation and cost estimation. The restoration process adheres to ancient architectural patterns, preserving original elements while replacing damaged stones at lower levels. The team prioritized repairing and strengthening the dilapidated foundation before addressing the stairs.

Future plans include further restoration efforts on the western side of Neak Poan Temple to ensure the integrity of both the structure and its stairways.

Since May 2024, APSARA National Authority has also completed repairs on various components of the temple, including:

– Strengthening the western staircase of the eastern pond
– Repairing the floor around the eastern shrine roof
– Fixing the southern staircase of the northern pond
– Addressing issues with the eastern staircase

These efforts underscore APSARA’s commitment to preserving Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage.
