She added that in Angkor Thom, the APSARA National Authority has set up three locations for traders, such as west of Bayon, Wat Tep Pranom, and in front of Preah Pithu temple.
About this sale, Ms. Chan Udom Panha stated that her team always organizes each stall, including sales, garbage disposal, hygiene issues, and the arrangement of sales materials or chairs, requiring vendors to prepare appropriately. Separately, the team is also responsible for preventing new mobile sales in the temple area. At this point, Panha explains that if new vendors are allowed to enter the temple area, there will be chaos and tourists will not be satisfied with such images.
However, these jobs always have some challenges from traders, and mobile vendors by tuk-tuk or motorcycle. As an Angkor keeper and protector, Panha said that her team is not tired of instructing vendors to understand the intentions of the arrangements, and in the end, there is always a good solution, and the vendors understand the duties of the public order team as well.
