នៅថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្រុមអ្នកជំនាញការអាដហុក នៃគណៈកម្មាធិការអន្តរជាតិសម្របសម្រួលកិច្ចគាំពារ និងអភិវឌ្ឍន៍តំបន់រមណីយដ្ឋានប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្តអង្គរ និងសំបូរព្រៃគុក ដែលដឹកនាំដោយឯកឧត្តមបណ្ឌិត ហង់ ពៅ អគ្គនាយកនៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា បានចុះពិនិត្យគម្រោងការងារជួសជុលនៅប្រាសាទមេបុណ្យខាងលិច។

ក្នុងរយៈពេលមួយសប្ដាហ៍កន្លងទៅ ក្រុមអ្នកជំនាញការអាដហុក បានចុះពិនិត្យការដ្ឋានមួយចំនួនដូចជា ប្រាសាទបាគង ប្រាសាទបន្ទាយសំរ៉ែ ប្រាសាទតាព្រហ្ម ប្រាសាទបក្សីចាំក្រុង បារាយណ៍ខាងកើត ប្រាសាទតាសោម រាជវាំងអង្គរធំ (ប្រាសាទភិមានអាកាស) ប្រាសាទតានៃ ប្រាសាទបាយ័ន ប្រាសាទភ្នំក្រោម ប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត និងចុងក្រោយប្រាសាទមេបុណ្យខាងលិច៕

On June 6, 2026, the Ad Hoc Expert Group of the International Coordinating Committee for the Safeguarding and Development of the Historic Sites of Angkor and Sambor Prei Kuk (ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk), led by Dr. Hang Peou, Director General of the APSARA National Authority, inspected the restoration project at West Mebon.
During the visit, Cambodian experts presented a range of projects related to the restoration, conservation, and preparation of visitor routes at West Mebon Temple. The presentations were submitted to the Ad Hoc experts for review, evaluation, and recommendations to ensure that all work complies with the Angkor Charter and meets international technical standards.
The inspection marked the final day of field visits conducted by the Ad Hoc experts before the opening of the 42nd Technical Session of ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk, scheduled for June 9–10, 2026.
Over the past week, the experts visited and assessed several restoration and conservation sites across the Angkor region, including Bakong Temple, Banteay Samre Temple, Ta Prohm, Baksei Chamkrong, East Baray, Ta Som, the Royal Palace area of Angkor Thom including Phimeanakas, as well as Ta Nei, Bayon, Phnom Krom, Angkor Wat, and finally West Mebon Temple.
