Ad Hoc Experts from the International Coordinating Committee for the Safeguarding and Development of the Historic Sites of Angkor and Sambor Prei Kuk (ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk) conducted an inspection of the ongoing restoration activities at the Victory Gate on November 3, 2025.
During the visit, the team of international experts—joined by senior officials of the APSARA National Authority and led by H.E. Dr. Hang Peou, Director General of the APSARA National Authority—examined restoration progress at the Victory Gate. The restoration team delivered detailed presentations on current work, after which the experts offered additional recommendations to further strengthen the project’s implementation.
This mission forms part of the continued efforts to study, monitor, and evaluate restoration work in line with recommendations provided by ICC experts in previous sessions.
