Ad Hoc Experts from the International Coordinating Committee for the Safeguarding and Development of the Historic Sites of Angkor and Sambor Prei Kuk (ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk), together with Cambodian specialists from the APSARA National Authority, conducted an inspection of several ongoing restoration activities at Angkor Thom on November 3, 2025.
The mission focused on restoration progress at the South and North Gates, as well as ongoing archaeological research and excavations within the Royal Palace restoration project. The visit aimed to assess the technical work and ensure that all activities continue to align with recommendations previously provided by the international and national experts.
