On April 8, 2025, H.E. Dr. Hang Peou, Director-General of the APSARA National Authority, held a meeting with Ms. Lee Sejin, Deputy Country Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Cambodia. The discussion focused on the successful collaboration between KOICA and the APSARA National Authority in various projects aimed at conserving and developing the Angkor sites.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed past initiatives that KOICA has supported, highlighting the positive impacts on the preservation and sustainable management of this UNESCO World Heritage site. They also explored potential future projects to enhance conservation efforts and promote sustainable development practices in the Angkor region.
