Technicians of the APSARA National Authority are repairing and strengthening the foundation of the fifth tower of Bakong Temple, which is dilapidated.

The head of conservation of the Rolous area of ​​the APSARA National Authority, Mr. Saray Kim Huol, said that the condition of the 5th tower of Bakong temple is dilapidated, especially the tower’s wall from the foundation to the top.

Mr. Saray Kimhuol stated that due to many risks and dangers, the APSARA National Authority has repaired and strengthened the 5th tower structure of Bakong Temple by strengthening the brick structure and the tower walls and sealing the cracks in the walls to prevent water seepage.

The 5th tower of Bakong temple was damaged due to age, and weather, and tree roots grew into the tower.
