លៀងមេមត់របស់អ្នកភូមិរស់នៅក្នុងតំបន់អង្គរ ដូចជា៖ ភូមិនគរក្រៅ, (សង្កាត់គោកចក), ភូមិអារក្សស្វាយ (សង្កាត់នគរធំ), ភូមិក្រសាំងរលើង, ភូមិទ្រៀក (សង្កាត់សៀមរាប), ភូមិភូមិថ្នល់បាក់ (ឃុំអំពិល), ភូមិភ្លង់ (ឃុំលាងដៃ), ភូមិក្បាលដំរី (ឃុំរើស) និងភូមិស្នាសង្រ្គាម (ស្រុកបន្ទាយស្រី)។ល។
គេចំណាំធ្វើនៅខែមាឃ ឬអាចធ្វើក្នុងបរិបទពិសេសណាមួយនៅពេលមានរូបមេមត់ ឬ «សម្បក» ឈឺធ្ងន់ ដោយសារអមនុស្សធ្វើឱ្យរូបស្នងនោះឈឺ។ ហេតុនេះ ដើម្បីដោះស្រាយ និងជៀសវាងកុំឲ្យឈឺ ត្រូវលៀងមេមត់ក្នុងមួយឆ្នាំ ឬពីរឆ្នាំម្តង។ ជាទូទៅ ស្រុក ឬតំបន់ខ្លះ គេហៅថា «អារក្ស» ក៏ប៉ុន្តែនៅតំបន់អង្គរ គេនិយមហៅ «មេមត់» មិនសូវឮប្រើពាក្យអារក្សទេ។ ដូច្នេះហើយបានជាគេច្រើនហៅថា «ភ្លេងមេមត់ » «រូបមេមត់» និង «លៀងមេមត់»។
មេមត់ គឺជាខ្មោចជួរចំបួរប្រចាំត្រកូល ហើយមាន “រូបស្នង” ដែលភាគច្រើនជាមនុស្សស្រី។ «រូបស្នង» ដើរតួនាទីសំខាន់ក្នុងកិច្ចជាន់មេមត់រកមើលហេតុនៃវិបត្តិតូច ធំដែលកើតឡើងផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន, ក្នុងគ្រួសារ ឬតាមការពឹងពាក់ពីអ្នកស្រុកជិតឆ្ងាយឱ្យជួយព្យាបាល ដោយស្តោះផ្លុំ ឬពេលបាត់បង់វត្ថុអីមួយ។ល។ លុះបានផល ឬជាពីជម្ងឺដោយធ្វើតាមពាក្យខ្មោចប្រាប់ យើងត្រូវលៀងកំសាន្តឱ្យអមនុស្សជាការដឹងគុណដែលប្រាប់ពីហេតុផល និងខំមើលយើងជា។ ពិធីលៀងនេះ គេហៅ «លៀងមេមត់»។
ក្នុងពិធីលៀងមេមត់នេះភ្លេងគឺជាគ្រឿងរណ្តាប់មួយយ៉ាងសំខាន់ដែលមិនអាចខ្វះបាន ត្បិតត្រូវលេងឱ្យមេមត់រាំលេងសប្បាយ។ កិច្ចពិធីលៀងមេមត់ មានរបៀបពីរយ៉ាង៖ ទី១ កិច្ចពិធីលៀងជាលក្ខណៈឯកជន ដោយមានរៀបចំសំណែនជាម្ហូបអាហារ ព្រមទាំងមានភ្លេងមេមត់ផង ដើម្បីជាការដឹងគុណដល់ខ្មោច ឬចំបួរ ដែលខំមើលជម្ងឺជា ឬរកវត្ថុអ្វីមួយដែលបានបាត់បង់ទៅហើយឃើញមកវិញ។ កិច្ចពិធីនេះ ច្រើនចាប់ធ្វើនៅពេលថ្ងៃត្រង់ ឬក៏រសៀល។ ចំណែកកិច្ចពិធីទី២ គឺលៀងមេមត់មានលក្ខណៈជាសហគមន៍ ដែលធ្វើរៀងរាល់ឆ្នាំ ឬអ្នកខ្លះ ភូមិខ្លះទាល់តែពីរ ឬបីឆ្នាំម្តង ទោះជាឈឺ ឬមិនឈឺអីក៏ដោយ គឺត្រូវតែធ្វើពិធីលៀងមេមត់។
ក្នុងពិធីលៀងនេះដែរ រូបស្នងក៏បញ្ជាន់មេមត់ដែលជាគ្រូកំណើត ឬចំបួររបស់ខ្លួនឡើងរាំតាមចង្វាក់ភ្លេង ហើយអ្នកខ្លះគេឆ្លៀតមករកមើលពីវិបត្តិតូច ធំផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន ឬគ្រួសារ ហើយជួនកាលមេមត់ហ្នឹងក៏ព្យាបាលអ្នកជម្ងឺ ដោយស្តោះព្រួសក្នុងពេលលៀងនោះទៀតផង។
នៅថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍ ១៣ កើត ខែមាឃ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ និងនៅថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍ ៥រោច ខែមាឃ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៤នេះ នៅភូមិនគរក្រៅនឹងមានរៀបចំពិធីលៀងមេមត់នៅផ្ទះយាយគង់ និងនៅផ្ទះយាយអុល៕
អត្ថបទ និងរូបភាពដោយ៖ ផ្នែកស្រាវជ្រាវនៃនាយកដ្ឋានស្រាវជ្រាវ បណ្តុះបណ្តាល និងផ្សព្វផ្សាយ
Leang Memot Ceremony of villagers living in the Angkor area, such as Nokor Krao village (Sangkat Kok Chak), Arak Svay village (Sangkat Nokor Thom), Krasaing Roleung village, Treak village (Sangkat Siem Reap), Thnal Bak village (Ampil commune), Plung village (Leang Dai commune), Kbal Damrei village (Rers commune) and Sna Sangkram village (Banteay Srey district), etc. It is noted that the ceremony can be done in any special context when the person (who is believed as a spirit successor) is seriously ill because the spirit makes him/her sick. Therefore, to solve and avoid getting sick, the Leang Memot Ceremony is held once or twice a year. Generally, some districts or areas are called “Arak” (spirit), but in the Angkor area, they are often called “Memot” and the word “Arak” is rarely used. That is why they are often called “Memot music”, “Memot successor” and “Leang Memot Ceremony”. Memot is a kind of ghost that has ” heirs ” mostly females. The “successor” plays an important role in communicating with the spirit to find out the cause of the crisis, which occurs personally, in the family, or the neighbors to help treat by spitting as well as when something is lost, etc. When we recover from a disease by following the spirit’s words, we must entertain the inhuman as a gratitude that tells the reason and tries to heal us. This party is called the “Leang Memot Ceremony”. In this ceremony, music is important and can not be missed because it must be played for Memot to dance and have fun. There are two types of Leang Memot Ceremony: First, a private ceremony with food offerings and memot music to thank the spirit, who tries to heal or find something lost. The ceremony usually takes place at noon or in the afternoon. As for the second kind, the Leang Memot Ceremony in a community is held every year, or in some villages, every two or three years, even if you are sick or not, you have to hold the Leang Memot Ceremony. At this ceremony, the Memot successor also dances for the spirit, and some villagers come to ask for help, and sometimes the Memot treats the patient by spitting in at that ceremony as well.
On Thursday, 22nd February 2024, and Thursday, 29th February 2024, in Nokor Krao village, there will be a Leang Memot Ceremony at Grandma Kong and Grandma Ol’s house.
