នៅក្នុងតំបន់រមណីយដ្ឋានអង្គរ លោក ព្រាន ជ្រូក រស់នៅភូមិត្នោតជ្រុំ ឃុំដូនកែវ ស្រុកពួក ខេត្តសៀមរាប បានយកទីតាំងផ្ទះរបស់គាត់ធ្វើជាកន្លែងបង្រៀនយុវជនខ្មែរជំនាន់ក្រោយ ឱ្យចេះជំនាញចារគម្ពីរសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹត ក្នុងបំណងរក្សាវប្បធម៌និងសិល្បៈមួយនេះឱ្យមានអ្នកបន្តវេនយូរអង្វែងតទៅទៀត។
លោក ព្រាន ជ្រូក អាយុ២៧ឆ្នាំ ឱ្យដឹងថា លោកបានចេះជំនាញចារសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹតក្នុងពេលដែលរូបលោកបានបួស និងរៀននៅវត្ត(នាមរូប)ក្នុងស្រុកពួក។ បច្ចុប្បន្នលោកកំពុងប្រឹងប្រែងបង្ហាត់បង្រៀនចារសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹតដល់យុវជន យុវតី នៅក្នុងភូមិដោយឥតគិតថ្លៃ ដើម្បីឱ្យកូនខ្មែរជំនាន់ក្រោយ បានឃើញ និងស្គាល់ពីតម្លៃរបស់សាស្ត្រា ដែលបុព្វបុរសខ្មែរបានប្រើប្រាស់ ចារជាគម្ពីរ ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ និងក្បួនច្បាប់ផ្សេងៗជាច្រើនជាយូរលង់មកហើយ។ ការខិតខំបង្រៀនជំនាញចារសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹតដល់យុវជនខ្មែរជំនាញក្រោយឱ្យមានចំណេះបន្ត ដោយសារតែបច្ចុប្បន្ន ជំនាញចារសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹតបានបាត់បង់ទៅៗស្ទើរតែទាំងស្រុងនៅក្នុងសង្គមខ្មែរសម័យថ្មី។
លោក ព្រាន ជ្រូក បញ្ជាក់ថា ជំនាញចារសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹត គឺត្រូវមានចិត្តអត់ធ្មត់ ធ្វើអារម្មណ៍យើងឱ្យនឹង ស្រលាញ់និង ផ្តោតការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ខ្លាំង។ ដូច្នេះអ្នកដែលចង់សិក្សារៀនសូត្រ ពីជំនាញចារសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹតទាល់តែមានចិត្តស្រលាញ់ ចង់ចេះ ចង់ដឹងច្បាស់លាស់ទើបអាចធ្វើបាន។ បច្ចុប្បន្ននេះមានយុវតីនិងយុវជនចំនួន៥ ទៅ៦នាក់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ ដែលចាប់អារម្មណ៍និងជំនាញចារសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹតនេះនៅក្នុងចំណោមយុវជនជាច្រើន។ នៅក្នុងភូមិត្នោតជ្រុំ ក៏មានអ្នកចេះចារសាស្ត្រាស្លឹករឹត២ទៅ៣នាក់ដែរ ហើយសុទ្ធតែអ្នកធ្លាប់បួសរៀននៅវត្តដូចគ្នា៕

In the Angkor area, Mr. Prean Chrouk, a resident of Tnot Chrum village, Daun Keo commune, Puok district, Siem Reap province, used his home as a place to teach the next generation of young Cambodians the skill of inscribing palm leaf manuscripts to preserve this culture and art.
Prean Chrouk, 27, said he learned the skill of inscribing palm leaf manuscripts when he was a monk at a pagoda in Puok district. Currently, he is trying to teach the skill of inscribing palm leaf manuscripts to young men and women in the village for free so that the next generation of Cambodians can see and recognize the value of manuscripts, which Cambodian ancestors used to inscribe as the history books and various rules a long time ago. He added that he tried to teach this skill to young Cambodians because the skill of inscribing palm leaf manuscripts is now almost completely lost in modern Cambodian society.
Mr. Prean Chrouk stated that the skill of inscribing palm leaf manuscripts needs patience, to make us feel loved and very focused. Therefore, those who want to learn this skill must have a passion to do it. Currently, there are only five to six young men and women who are interested in this skill. In Tnot Chrum village, there are also two or three professionals in the skill of inscribing palm leaf manuscripts, all of whom used to study at the same pagoda.
