Following the high recommendation of H.E. Dr. PHOEURNG Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, and H.E. Mr. Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, instructed the APSARA National Authority and the Forestry Administration to work together to improve the Angkor Bridge Nursery Station to become a large nursery station in the Angkor area to conserve and increase rare plant species that are facing extinction to distribute to ministries/institutions and the public to plant in Siem Reap-Angkor and other provinces for free of charge.
This cooperation project refers to the design and master plan, the improvement of the cultural landscape by dismantling the untidy buildings, setting up the nursery, rehabilitating the water wheel, and improving the aesthetics, hygiene, environment, and necessary equipment to support the commissioning of this station soon.
