Takeo Temple Nursery Station is one of the 10 stations of the APSARA National Authority that grows many kinds of seedlings for planting in the Angkor area and for distribution. This station grows the kind of luxurious trees.
Ms. Prum Sina, the supervisor at Takeo Temple Nursery Station, said that during this dry season, the team is a bit too busy to mix the soil for seedlings. She said that during March and April, the seeds of the tree will be able to harvest, while now it is flowering, which includes Teal, Koki, Trach, etc.
According to Ms. Prum Sina, Takeo Temple Nursery has a total of 15 kinds of trees. In the dry season, caring for the seedlings is a bit difficult due to the need to water and fertilize, which is different from the rainy season, there is enough rain and not much care.
Ms. Prum Sina added that Takeo Temple Nursery station, like other stations, is growing trees for planting in the Angkor area and for distribution to people who request to plant in other areas or provinces in Cambodia.
