គម្រោងជួសជុលការដ្ឋានកំពង់ទឹកប្រាសាទព្រះខ័ន ជិតរួចរាល់ជាស្ថាពរហើយ ដោយបច្ចុប្បន្ន ក្រុមអ្នកជំនាញនាយកដ្ឋានអភិរក្សប្រាសាទ និងបុរាណវិទ្យា នៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា នៅតែជួសជុលបង្ហើយពង្រឹងជើងទំនប់ខាងលិច(នៃបារាយណ៍ជ័យតដាក)ដែលតភ្ជាប់ពីខឿនកំពង់ទឹកទៅកាន់ផ្លូវចូលប្រាសាទព្រះខ័នខាងកើតមានសភាពទ្រុឌទ្រោមខ្លាំង ដោយសារតែទឹកហូរច្រោះកំណកដី។

បុរាណវិទូ និងជាអ្នកគ្រប់គ្រងគម្រោងជួសជុលការដ្ឋានកំពង់ទឹកប្រាសាទព្រះខ័ន លោក ជា សារិទ្ធ មានប្រសាសន៍ថា ក្រុមការងារកំពុងតែមមាញឹកការស្តារកំណកដីពីផ្លូវចូលខាងកើត ហើយយកទៅចាក់បិទខ្នងទំនប់បារាយណ៍ជ័យតដាក ដើម្បីបំពេញត្រង់ចំណុចដែលបាក់ស្រុត ដោយសារទឹកហូរច្រោះឱ្យឃើញនូវរូបរាងដើមវិញ។ ម្យ៉ាងវិញទៀត ការស្ដារកំណកដីផ្លូវចូលនេះ គឺដើម្បីជួយសម្រួលដល់ទេសចរ នឹងបង្ហាញឱ្យឃើញឡើងវិញនូវរចនាសម្ពន្ធផ្លូវដែលក្រាលដោយថ្មបាយក្រៀម និងថ្មគោលព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនានៅអមសងខាងផ្លូវ ជាសំណង់ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រមួយចំណោមសំណង់ផ្សេងទៀតនៅប្រាសាទព្រះខ័ន។ សព្វថ្ងៃ ទាំងកម្រាលថ្មបាយក្រៀម និងថ្មគោលព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនាកប់ក្នុងដីជម្រៅប្រមាណជាង១ម៉ែត្រ បណ្តាលឱ្យថ្មរងការពុកផុយ។ កន្លងមក អភិរក្សដ្ឋានអង្គរនៃសាលាបារាំងចុងបូព៌ាធ្លាប់ធ្វើកំណាយសម្អាតដីលើផ្លូវនេះរួចម្តងហើយ៕

The restoration of the Preah Khan temple’s eastern terrace will be completed soon. Currently, the experts of the Department of Conservation of Monuments and Preventive Archaeology of APSARA National Authority are still repairing and strengthening the western dam of Northern Baray which connects the terrace platform to the eastern entrance of the Preah Khan temple in the very dilapidated state.

Chea Sarith, an archaeologist and head of this terrace restoration project, said the team was busy restoring the landslide from the eastern entrance and filling in the gaps of the western dam of Northern Baray back to its original shape. On the other hand, the restoration of the access road is to facilitate tourists and will show the structure of the road paved with laterite and Buddhist stones on both sides of the road, one of the historical structures at the Preah Khan temple. Today, both the laterite and Buddhist stones are buried more than 1 meter deep, causing the stone to rot. In the past, the EFEO has already excavated the land on this road.
