Angkor Thom’s Takav Gate is a new attractive destination for tourists
Takav Gate is one of the four gates of Angkor Thom that attracts many tourists to visit and take pictures almost every day.
The Takav Gate has become even more beautiful after the experts of the APSARA National Authority finished its restoration project.
The team leader of the tourism agents stationed at the Takav Gate, Mr. Leas Kimlek, said that every day, tourists visit this gate and are fascinated by the timeless photography because this gate has four Brahma faces, smiling and welcoming. Surrounded by water, small and large trees grow together to create a very attractive landscape.
Mr. Kimlek added that at the Takav Gate, during the sunset, the light from the sun rises and shines golden on the top of this ancient structure, which creates a beautification for Tourists who come to visit and take pictures regularly.
Due to the Takav Gate attracting tourists, the tourism agents stationed here often facilitate national and international tourists by putting up signs to identify places of interest and danger. In particular, it is recommended that national and international tourists not step on the roof of the structure of the gate following the signs and the Angkor Code of Conduct to avoid problems affecting the temple and other accidents.
