ស្ថាបត្យករកូរ៉េ ដែលកំពុងអនុវត្តគម្រោងជួសជុលប្រាសាទជម លោក EO JINKYU ឱ្យដឹងថា នេះគឺជាដំណាក់កាលនៃការត្រូវពង្រឹងគ្រឹះនៃប្រាសាទ ដែលត្រូវរៀបខឿនទាំងបីស្រទាប់របស់ប្រាសាទឡើងវិញជាមុនសិន បន្ទាប់មក ទើបអាចរៀបចំផ្នែកខាងក្នុងនៃគ្រឹះ។

គម្រោងជួសជុលប្រាសាទជម បានចាប់ផ្តើមតាំងពីឆ្នាំ២០១៩ ហើយត្រូវបានផ្អាកមួយរយៈពេល ដោយសារតែការរីករាលដាលនៃជំងឺកូវីដ១៩។

The restoration team of APSARA National Authority has cooperated with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) through the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation (KCHF) to repair and strengthen the temple’s foundation using the Anastylosis technique.
Korean architect EO JINKYU, who is carrying out the restoration project of the Chorm Temple, said that this is the stage where the temple’s foundation needs to be strengthened first, and then the interior of the foundation can be prepared.
In preparing this foundation, for the place where the old laterite stone is still in good quality, they are kept, but the damaged areas need to be replaced with new laterite.
Mr. EO JINKYU added that the restoration of the Chorm Temple has many difficulties due to the serious damage to the temple, such as the damaged stone, which needs to be repaired. Some stones are reusable stones that the ancestors took from various temples, making it difficult to reassemble stones and make it difficult to locate the original stones.
However, in the last seven months, the team has worked hard to install 80% of the new foundations of the temple, repair the damaged stones, and so on.
The Chorm Temple’s restoration project began in 2019 and was temporarily suspended due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
But in 2021, the renovation project resumed and continues to this day.
