កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៣ សារមន្ទីរព្រះនរោត្តមសីហនុ-អង្គរ បានទទួលវត្ថុបុរាណចំនួន៧ប្រភេទ ពីលោកអេង ណាំ ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋរស់នៅក្នុងក្រុងសៀមរាប ដែលបានស្ម័គ្រចិត្តប្រគល់ជូនសារមន្ទីរយកមកថែរក្សា និងអភិរក្សបន្ត។

លោក ភួយ សាវឿត នាយកស្តីទីនៃសារមន្ទីរព្រះនរោត្តមសីហនុ-អង្គរ បានឱ្យដឹងថា វត្ថុបុរាណទាំងនោះមានចំនួន១២ដូចជា៖ កងដៃតូចធំចំនួន៦ កញ្ចក់ចំនួនមួយ ផ្តិលទឹកមួយ ចានមួយ កណ្តឹងមួយ កាំបិតមួយ និងពូថៅចំនួនមួយ។ ដោយភាគច្រើននៃវត្ថុបុរាណទាំងនោះ អាចសនិដ្ឋានបានថា ផលិតឡើងអំពីសំរឹទ្ធ និងកាំបិតមានផ្លែដែក។
លោក ភួយ សាវឿត បានបន្តទៀតថា ជារួមនៅពេលទទួលបានវត្ថុទាំងអស់នេះ ក្រុមការងារមិនទាន់អាចកំណត់អត្តសញ្ញាណថា វត្ថុទាំងអស់នេះស្ថិតក្នុងសម័យកាលណាមួយបានឡើយ។ គ្រាន់តែប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ ប្រគល់ជូន បានបញ្ជាក់ថា កងដៃធំចំនួនពីរ មានប្រភពមកពីខេត្តបាត់ដំបង និងវត្ថុក្រៅពីនោះ មានប្រភពមកពីខេត្តឧត្តរមានជ័យ។ សារមន្ទីរក៏កំពុងស្នើសុំអ្នកជំនាញមកវិភាគ និងកំណត់អាយុកាលនៃវត្ថុទាំងនោះ ដើម្បីធ្វើការថែទាំ និងសម្អាត។ បើសិនជាមានលទ្ធភាពសារមន្ទីរ និងត្រៀមបង្ហាញជូនសាធារណៈជន អ្នកស្រាវជ្រាវបានចូលទស្សនាផងដែរ។

សារមន្ទីរព្រះនរោត្តមសីហនុអង្គរ រីករាយស្វាគមន៍ ការប្រគល់ជូនវត្ថុបុរាណផ្សេងៗ ដែលប្រជាពលរដ្ឋបានរកឃើញឬរក្សាទុកនៅផ្ទះបានស្ម័គ្រចិត្តប្រគល់វត្ថុបុរាណឬវត្ថុសិល្បៈនានាមកកាន់សារមន្ទីរ ដើម្បីយកមកថែទាំ និងអភិរក្សបន្តដើម្បីកូនចៅជំនាន់ក្រោយបានស្គាល់និងសិក្សាស្រាវជ្រាវ៕

The Preah Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum received seven types of artifacts from a resident of Siem Reap

On 29 June 2023, the Preah Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum received seven types of artifacts from Mr. Eng Nam, a resident of Siem Reap who volunteered to hand them over to the museum for maintenance and preservation.

Mr. Khoy Savoeut, Acting Director of the Preah Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum, said the artifacts consisted of 12 artifacts: six small and large bracelets, a glass, a plate, a bell, a knife, and an ax. Most of these artifacts were made of bronze and iron.
Mr. Khoy Savoeut added that in general, upon receiving all these items, the team has not been able to identify the age of these artifacts yet. Only the people handed over confirmed that two large bracelets originated from Battambang province and the other objects originated from Oddar Meanchey province. The museum was also asking experts to analyze and determine the age of the objects for maintenance and cleaning. If possible, the museum will display these artifacts to the public, and researchers.

the Preah Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum welcomes the handing over of artifacts that people have found or kept at home, volunteering to hand over artifacts to the museum for preservation for the next generations to know and research.
