ក្រុមការងារជួសជុលរបស់អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា កំពុងរៀបចំរន្ទា ដើម្បីរើដុំថ្មធំៗដែលមានសភាពហែកចេញពីគ្នា ហើយរៀបចំឱ្យមានសភាពកិបគ្នាដូចដើមឡើងវិញ ព្រមទាំងសម្អាតកម្ទេចដុំថ្មតូចៗ ធូលីដីចេញផង នៅខឿនរួតបាកាណនាផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ នៃប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត ដែលកំពុងរងការខូចខាតជាច្រើនសតវត្សរ៍មកហើយ។
មន្ត្រីបច្ចេកទេសនាយកដ្ឋានអភិរក្សប្រាសាទ និងបុរាណវិទ្យា នៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាលោក ឃាម មុនី មានប្រសាសន៍ថា ជារៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃក្រុមអ្នកជួសជុលបានប្រើកម្លាំងមនុស្សសុទ្ធសាធ ដើម្បីរើ អូសទាញឬលើកដុំថ្មធំៗចេញពីកន្លែងដើម ដែលមានសភាពហែករំកិលចេញពីគ្នាពី១ទៅ២៧សង់ទីម៉ែត្រ យកទៅដាក់នៅកន្លែងមានសុវត្ថិភាព ដោយយោងឡើង តាមការប្រើកៅឡាក់ចំនួន៥ ប្រទាញចុះឡើងយ៉ាងលំបាក ដោយប្រើពេលជាច្រើនម៉ោងក្នុងការទាញយកថ្មមួយដុំៗ។ ចំណែកឯដឹកជញ្ជូនថ្មថ្មីទៅបំពេញពង្រឹងតាមជ្រុងរបស់រចនាសម្ពន្ធរបស់ខឿនវិញ គឺប្រើរទេះអូសពីដីឡើងទៅលើ ដោយប្រើកម្លាំងមនុស្សយ៉ាងតិចចំនួន១៥នាក់ អូសផង ទាញផង និងរុញផង ដោយក្នុងមួយថ្ងៃៗអាចយកដុំថ្មបានតែចំនួនពី៦ទៅ៨ដុំប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

The restoration team of APSARA National Authority is preparing the scaffolding to remove the large stones that have been slid off and to restore them to their original condition, as well as to clean the small stones and dust at the southeastern platform of Angkor Wat’s Bakan Tower, which has been damaged for centuries.
Kham Mony, technical officer of the Department of Conservation of Monuments and Preventive Archaeology of the APSARA National Authority, said that every day, the restoration team used purely human force to pull or lift large stones from the original site, which slid off 1 to 27 cm to be kept in a safe place, according to the use of five chain blocks to pull up and down the stones, taking hours to pull out a stone. The transport of new stones to consolidate the corners of the platform is to use a cart to pull from the ground up with a force of at least 15 people to drag, pull and push only six to eight stones a day.
Mr. Kham Mony added that hauling large stones up to the southeastern platform of Angkor Wat’s Bakan Tower is not an easy task, as the team had to use a dragging force of about 30 to 40 meters high and each stone weighs about 1,500 kg.
The difficulty of hauling large stones by human hands requires the experts to persevere and find all the high-quality techniques that do not affect the old, dilapidated structures, as well as the safety of the team.
