អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាបានដាក់សំណាញ់ការពារសត្វប្រចៀវកុំឱ្យតោងនៅតាមទីតាំងមួយចំនួននៃដំបូលប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត។ លោក សយ សុភារិន្ទ អ្នកទទួលបន្ទុកកិច្ចការអភិរក្សនៅប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត នាយកដ្ឋានអភិរក្សប្រាសាទ និងបុរាណវិទ្យានៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា បានឱ្យដឹងថា ការងាររៀបចំដាក់សំណាញ់ការពារសត្វប្រចៀវនៅប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត ក្រុមការងារបានរៀបចំច្រើនកន្លែងមកហើយ ដូចជា នៅរួតបាកាណ និងរួតព្រះពាន់នៃប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត។ ប៉ុន្តែដោយសង្កេតឃើញថា ខ្លោងទ្វារខាងលិចប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត មានសត្វប្រចៀវមករស់នៅច្រើន ហើយបាននោម និងលាមកធ្វើឱ្យថ្មប្រាសាទពុកផុយ និងធុំក្លិនដល់ភ្ញៀវទេសចរផង។

សូមបញ្ជាក់ថា ការដាក់សំណាញ់ពេលនេះសរុបមានចំនួន១៦0ម៉ែត្រការ៉េ ដែលអនុវត្តក្នុងខែកុម្ភៈ២០២៣ និងបញ្ចប់នៅខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៣៕

The APSARA National Authority is installing a net in the roof of the Angkor Wat gallery to prevent bats from entering the structure. Mr. Soy Sophearin, in charge of conservation work at Angkor Wat, from Department of Conservation of Monuments and Preventive Archaeology, said that the team has already installed nets to protect bats in some areas of Angkor Wat, such as in Bakan tower and Preah Poan gallery. But by observing that the west gate of Angkor Wat has a lot of bats come to live as Bat urine is a source of moisture and salinity which combined erodes the temple’s stonework as well as smells bad to tourists.

It should be noted that the total number of nets is 160 square meters, which was implemented in February 2023 and completed in March 2023.
