ចាប់តាំងពីអំឡុងខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ២០២២មក អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា បានចាប់ផ្តើមដំណើរការរៀបចំធ្វើកម្រាលផ្លូវដើរ នៅមុខប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត ក្នុងគោលដៅ កាត់បន្ថយភាពសឹករិចរឹលរបស់ថ្ម នឹងគ្រប់គ្រងលំហូររបស់ភ្ញៀវទេសចរចូលមកទស្សនាក្នុងប្រាសាទ ឱ្យមានភាពល្អប្រសើរ។
លោក សេង សុធារ៉ា ប្រធាននាយកដ្ឋានអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ទេសចរណ៍ និងវប្បធម៌ នៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា មានប្រសាសន៍ថា គោលដៅចម្បង នៃការរៀបចំកម្រាលផ្លូវដើរ នៅបរិវេណប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្តនេះ ដើម្បីកាត់បន្ថយភាពសឹករិចរឹលនៃថ្មប្រាសាទ ដោយសារកន្លងមក ជាពិសេសរដូវវស្សាមានភ្លៀងធ្លាក់ បណ្តាលឱ្យមានភក់ជាប់មកជាមួយនូវបាតស្បែកជើង ជាហេតុនាំយកដី ទាំងនោះទៅកកិតជាមួយនឹងថ្ម។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀតគឺដើម្បីគ្រប់គ្រងលំហូររបស់ភ្ញៀវទេសចរឱ្យសមរម្យ ចៀសវាងការដើរនៅលើស្មៅ និងលើដី រក្សាបានរបៀបរៀបរយ និងរួមចំណែកលើកកម្ពស់សោភណ្ឌភាពប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត ឱ្យមានភាពបៃតងគ្រប់រដូវកាល។
លោកបន្តទៀតថា គម្រោងរៀបចំកម្រាលផ្លូវដើរនៅប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត ត្រូវបានអនុវត្តចំនួន៣ដំណាក់កាល ដោយដំណាក់កាលទី១នេះ អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាទទួលបានថវិកាឧបត្ថម្ភពីមូលនិធិរបស់GIZ ក្រោមការសម្រួលរបស់អង្គការយូណេស្កូប្រចាំប្រទេសកម្ពុជា សម្រាប់រៀបចំកម្រាលផ្លូវដើរមានប្រវែងសរុប៤៧៦ម៉ែត្រ។ ជំហានដំបូង ដំណើរការរៀបចំកម្រាល សម្រេចលទ្ធផលប្រមាណ៦០ភាគរយហើយ មកដល់ពាក់កណ្តាលខែមករានេះ ដោយរំពឹងថា នឹងអាចរួចរាល់ជាស្ថាពរនៅចុងខែមករា ឬដើមខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៣ខាងមុខ។
លោកបានបន្តទៀតថា កម្រាលផ្លូវដើរថ្មី ដែលអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា ធ្វើការរៀបចំនេះ មានចំនួន៤កន្លែងផ្សេងគ្នា ចំណែកកម្រាលឈើចាស់ ក៏នៅរក្សាទុកដដែល។
អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា មានក្តីសង្ឈឹមថា ក្រោយពេលរៀបចំកម្រាលផ្លូវថ្មីរួចរាល់ ភ្ញៀវទេសចរទាំងអស់ និងធ្វើដំណើរនៅលើកម្រាលផ្លូវនេះ ចៀសវាងការដើរជាន់លើវាលស្មៅ និងចូលរួមគោរពទៅតាមក្រមប្រត្តិបត្តិអង្គរ។ ក្នុងនោះដែរក៏សូមសំណូមពរដល់ ភ្ញៀវទេសចរជាតិ និងអន្តរជាតិចូលរួមថែរក្សាបរិស្ថាននៅក្នុងតំបន់រមណីយដ្ឋានអង្គរទាំងអស់គ្នា ដោយដាក់សំរាមក្នុងធុងសំរាមឱ្យបានត្រឹមត្រូវ៕

Since November 2022, the APSARA National Authority has started the process of organizing the walkways at Angkor Wat to reduce the erosion of the stones and better control the flow of tourists visiting the temple.
Mr. Seng Sotheara, Director of the Department of Tourism Development and Culture of the APSARA National Authority, said that the main goals of the walkways at the Angkor Wat temple are to reduce the erosion of the temple stone due to the past, especially during the rainy season, the mud sticks to the soles of the shoes, causing the soil to rub against the stones. On the other hand, to control the flow of tourists appropriately, avoid walking on the grass and the ground, maintain order and contribute to promoting the beauty of Angkor Wat to be green in all seasons.
He added that the walkway project at Angkor Wat was implemented in three phases. In the first phase, APSARA National Authority received funding from GIZ under the auspices of UNESCO in Cambodia for a total length of 476 meters. The first step in the process of preparing the walkway is about 60% completed, with the expectation that it will be completed by the end of January or the beginning of February 2023.
He added that the new walkways that the APSARA National Authority has prepared in four different locations, while the old wooden walkway is still kept.
APSARA National Authority hopes that after preparing the new walkways, all tourists will travel on them, avoid stepping on the grass and adhere to the Angkor Code of Conduct. We would like to request national and international tourists to take care of the environment in the Angkor area by putting garbage in the trash properly.
