About wat Tep Pranom

     Tep Pranom Pagoda is located in the north of Bayon temple, along the road to the North Gate of Angkor Thom and slightly east of Preah Palilay temple in Nokor Krao village, Kok Chork commune, Siem Reap City, Siem Reap province.

Tep Pranom Pagoda was built in 1981 by Samdech Preah Agga Mahā Sangharājādhipati Tep Vong, the Great Supreme Patriarch of Cambodia. This pagoda is called Tep Pranom pagoda because there is a Buddha statue named Tep Pranom. This pagoda is located in the Angkor Thom area and, so the Chief monk named it Tep Pranom pagoda.

Between 1981 and 1992, this pagoda was developed and built the school and Buddhist buildings for the monks to stay.
