On December 31, 2024, as part of their New Year 2025 celebrations, the Kampuchea Thmey Daily Team embarked on a journey to deepen their understanding of the conservation, restoration, and development efforts at the Angkor site. The APSARA National Authority facilitated this educational experience by coordinating with experts who provided insights and demonstrations related to the ongoing preservation work.
The team had the opportunity to study the conservation efforts at Banteay Kdei Temple, where they learned about the techniques and challenges involved in maintaining this historic structure. Additionally, their visit included a tour of the Preah Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum, which showcases the rich cultural heritage of the region, and the MGC Asian Traditional Textiles Museum, highlighting the significance of traditional crafts.
