នាដើមរដូវវស្សា ដែលមានភ្លៀងធ្លាក់ជាបន្តបន្ទាប់នេះ ក្រុមការងារសម្អាតរុក្ខជាតិតាមប្រាសាទនៃនាយកដ្ឋានអភិរក្សប្រាសាទ និងបុរាណវិទ្យារបស់អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា កាន់តែមមាញឹកក្នុងការកាត់សម្អាតដើមរុក្ខជាតិ ឬស្មៅដុះនៅតាមប្រាសាទទាំងក្នុង និងក្រៅតំបន់អង្គរ ដើម្បីកាត់បន្ថយហានិភ័យដល់ប្រាង្គប្រាសាទ។

លោក ងិន ធី អ្នកគ្រប់គ្រងការងារសម្អាត រុក្ខជាតិតាមប្រាសាទ បានឱ្យដឹងនៅក្នុងពេលដឹកនាំក្រុមការងារចុះសម្អាតនៅប្រាសាទតាកែវថា ការកាត់សម្អាតរុក្ខជាតិ និងស្មៅនៅតាមប្រាសាទ គឺដើម្បីចៀសវាងកុំឱ្យវាបង្កផលប៉ះពាល់ដល់រចនាសម្ពន្ធរបស់ប្រាសាទ ទាំងប្រាសាទថ្មភក់ និងប្រាសាទឥដ្ឋ។ ជាពិសេសរដូវវស្សា គឺក្រុមការងារកាន់តែមមាញឹកសម្អាតនៅគ្រប់ប្រាសាទទាំងអស់ ដែលស្ថិតក្រោមការគ្រប់គ្រងរបស់អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាទាំងក្នុង និងក្រៅតំបន់អង្គរ។ លោក ងិន ធី បន្តថា ក្នុងឆ្នាំនេះ ថ្វីត្បិតតែអាកាសធាតុក្តៅខ្លាំង ធ្វើឱ្យស្មៅមិនសូវមានដុះក៏ប៉ុន្តែចំពោះរុក្ខជាតិនៅតែដុះលូតលាស់ធម្មតា និងដុះកាន់តែច្រើននៅពេលរដូវភ្លៀង។ បញ្ហានេះ ទាមទារឱ្យមានការសម្អាតជាប្រចាំ ដើម្បីសោភ័ណភាពរបស់ប្រាសាទបុរាណផងនិងជៀសវាងការប៉ះពាល់ដល់ប្រាង្គប្រាសាទ និងរចនាសម្ពន្ធផ្សេងៗរបស់ប្រាសាទផង។

លោក ងិន ធី បញ្ជាក់ថា ការងារសម្អាតនេះ អាចរំខានដល់ទេសចរក្នុងរយៈពេលខ្លី ហើយលោកក៏សំណូមពរដល់ភ្ញៀវទេសចរជាតិ និងអន្តរជាតិ ដែលបានទស្សនាប្រាសាទនានា ស្របពេលក្រុមការងារសម្អាតកំពុងបំពេញការងារ មេត្តាកុំចូលទៅជិត ចៀសវាងគ្រោះថ្នាក់កើតឡើងដោយប្រការណាមួយជាយថាហេតុ។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀត សូមចូលថែរក្សាបរិស្ថាននៅក្នុងរមណីយដ្ឋានអង្គរទាំងអស់គ្នា ដើម្បីលើកម្ពស់បរិស្ថាន និងតម្លៃជាសកលរបស់បេតិកភណ្ឌពិភពលោក៕

During the rainy season, the temple caretaker team of the APSARA National Authority in the Angkor area is busy clearing plants and weeds both inside and outside the temples. The team’s main objective is to reduce any risks to the temples and preserve their structures. They specifically focus on removing plants and mosses that could potentially damage the sandstone and brick temples. Despite this year’s hot weather, plant growth has normal, requiring regular clearing to maintain the beauty of the ancient temples and protect their towers and other structures.

Mr. Ngin Thy, a temple caretaker team leader, mentioned that while this maintenance work may temporarily disturb tourists, it is for preserving these historical sites. He kindly requests national and international tourists visiting during these operations to keep a safe distance from where work is being conducted in order to avoid accidents. It is also encouraged for everyone visiting Angkor to help take care of its environment collectively in order to promote its outstanding value as a World Heritage Site.
