អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា សហការជាមួយអង្គការ GIZ នៃប្រទេសអាល្លឺម៉ង់ កំពុងបន្តគម្រោងជួសជុលរានហាលខាងកើតប្រាសាទបន្ទាយសំរ៉ែ ដោយនៅឆ្នាំថ្មីនេះ គម្រោងបានដំណើរការជួសជុលបង្កាន់ដៃនាគ នៅជ្រុងខាងត្បូង។
លោក ឡុង ណារី ប្រធានគម្រោងជួសជុលនៅប្រាសាទបន្ទាយសំរ៉ែ បានលើកឡើងថា ក្រោយបញ្ចប់ការងារជួសជុលនៅផ្នែកខាងក្រោម ក្រុមការងាររបស់លោកបានចាប់ផ្តើមជួសជុល នៅផ្នែកខាងលើនៃបង្កាន់ដៃនាគ នៃរានហាលខាងកើត ជ្រុងខាងត្បូង។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន ក្រុមការងារកំពុងរៀបចំជួសជុល និងឆ្លាក់ជើងទម្រនាគ និងផ្គុំបំណែកចម្លាក់ខ្លះ ដែលប្រមូលបាននៅជុំវិញ។

The APSARA National Authority, in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), is continuing the restoration project of the Naga balustrades on the east terrace of Banteay Samré Temple. This year, restoration work has commenced on the southern section of the terrace.
Mr. Long Nary, Head of the Restoration Project at Banteay Samré Temple, stated that after successfully completing the lower section, the team has now proceeded with restoring the upper section of the Naga balustrades on the south side of the east terrace. At present, specialists are preparing the Naga pedestal and assembling sculptural fragments collected from the surrounding area.
The deterioration of the stone structures on the east terrace has resulted from both human and natural factors. In particular, vegetation growth within the stone joints has caused cracking, separation, and structural weakening of the stones. Mr. Long Nary confirmed that the project began in January and is scheduled for completion in mid-2026.
Importantly, the restoration of the Naga balustrades forms part of a specialized training program in stone conservation for officials and staff of the APSARA National Authority from the Department of Tourism Development and Culture. The program is conducted by Khmer and German experts, combining theoretical instruction with practical, on-site application at Banteay Samré Temple.
