On the morning of March 22, 2025, a significant event took place in Angkor Thom District, Siem Reap Province, where Mr. Prom Sam Ean, representing H.E. Dr. Hang Peou, Director-General of the APSARA National Authority, alongside Mr. Sakhon Borin, President of the Cambodian Civil Society Network (CCN), and Mr. Pov Bunthoeun, Governor of Angkor Thom District, presided over a ceremony to distribute energy-saving stoves to local families.
The initiative saw the donation of energy-saving stoves from Guangzhou Iceberg Environmental Consulting Services Co Ltd, benefiting 850 families across five villages in Chub Tatrav Commune. This initiative aims to significantly reduce environmental pollution by encouraging residents to use these stoves, which will help decrease reliance on firewood.
