រយៈពេល៣ថ្ងៃ ២យប់ ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែឧសភា ដល់ទី២៣ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ អ្នកភូមិជើងវត្តអាធ្វា រៀបចំពិធីបុណ្យឆាន់ដា និងពិសាខបូជា នៅទួលតាមឿង តាមទំនៀមបុរាណដែលតែងតែប្រារព្ធធ្វើឡើង ក្នុងគោលបំណងឧទ្ទិសកុសល់ដល់បុព្វការីជនទាំង៧សន្តាន ផ្តាច់កម្មផ្តាច់ពៀរសុំសេចក្តីសុខដោយប្រារព្ធភ្ជាប់នូវពិធីបុណ្យពិសាខបូជាផង។

For 3 days and 2 nights, 21-23 May 2024, the villagers living near Wat Athvea held a religious ceremony according to ancient tradition, which is always dedicated to the ancestors and happiness during the Visak Bochea festival.

Mr. Mak Saram, 77 years old, described that the villagers living near Wat Athvea have kept the tradition of holding a religious ceremony for Visak Bochea according to ancient customs. This ceremony is a way for them to pay homage to their ancestors and seek blessings for happiness and prosperity. The gathering at the Tuol Ta Moeung (spirit house) for three days and two nights involves elaborate preparations and worship ceremonies that are deeply rooted in their cultural heritage.

It is heartening to see the villagers coming together from different villages near Wat Athvea to uphold this tradition year after year. Their dedication to preserving their customs and honoring their spiritual beliefs is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the community.
