ក្រុមការងារបច្ចេកទេសរបស់នាយកដ្ឋានគ្រប់គ្រងទឹក ព្រៃឈើ និងហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ នៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាបានរៀបចំដំឡើងរន្ទាសម្រាប់កាត់ក្រីមែកឈើមួយចំនួននៅក្នុងបរិវេណវត្តតាំងតុ កាលពីថ្ងៃថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែមករាឆ្នាំ២០២៤ ប្រយោជន៍ដើម្បីការពារកុំឱ្យប៉ះពាល់ដល់សំណង់ផ្សេងៗក្នុងវត្ត ព្រមទាំងការពារគ្រោះថ្នាក់នានាផង។
មន្ត្រីបច្ចេកទេសរបស់នាយកដ្ឋានគ្រប់គ្រងទឹក ព្រៃឈើ និងហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ លោក គង់ សុវណ្ណារិទ្ធ ឱ្យដឹងថា ដើមឈើទាល ដើមពង្រ និងដើមស្លែង ដែលដុះជាប់នឹងបរិវេណវត្តតាំងតុ មានអាយុកាលច្រើនឆ្នាំមកហើយ កំពុងតែមានសភាពពុកផុយដោយអន្លើ។ ក្រុមការងារគ្រប់គ្រងព្រៃឈើ នៃអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា បានដំឡើងរន្ទាដែកដើម្បីកាត់ក្រីមែកឈើទាំងនោះមួយចំនួនចេញ ដើម្បីបញ្ចៀសការបាក់ធ្លាក់ដែលអាចនឹងបង្កឱ្យមានគ្រោះថ្នាក់និងការប៉ះពាល់ដល់សំណង់ផ្សេងៗក្នុងវត្ត។

The technical team of the Department of Water, Forestry and Infrastructure Management of the APSARA National Authority organized the installation of scaffolding for pruning some branches in the area of Wat Tang Tok on 17 January 2024, to prevent damage to other structures in the pagoda as well as preventing accidents.
The technical officer of the Department of Water, Forestry and Infrastructure Management, Mr. Kong Sovannarith, said that the Teal, Pongror, and Sleng trees that grow next to the Wat Tang Tok are so old and are deteriorating. The forestry management team of the APSARA National Authority has installed steel scaffolding to cut down some of the branches to avoid collapses that could cause accidents and damage to other structures in the pagoda.
Mr. Kong Sovannarith stated that although there are concerns about the dangers of falling branches, the forest in the Angkor area is also a barrier to protect the wind, shade the temple as a source of rain, and attraction for tourists too. Therefore, the team pruned only dead trees or uprooted trees. In addition to repairing and maintaining the temple, forestry management at the Angkor site is also a necessary task of the APSARA National Authority.
APSARA National Authority continues to prune branches in the Angkor area regularly to prevent danger to national and international tourists, as well as temples, and to maintain the cultural landscape in the Angkor area.
