ប្រទះឃើញចម្លាក់បដិមាថ្មភក់ចំនួន៦នៅខ្លោងទ្វារខាងត្បូងរបស់ប្រាសាទតាព្រហ្ម-Six sandstone statues found at the Southern Gate of Ta Prohm -21 December 2023

រុមការងារជូសជុលប្រាសាទបុរាណរបស់អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរានៅការដ្ឋានប្រាសាទតាព្រហ្ម បានប្រទះឃើញចម្លាក់បដិមាបុរាណធ្វើពីថ្មភក់ចំនួន៦ដុំនៅក្នុងការដ្ឋានដែលពួកគេកំពុងតែជួសជុល។

បុរាណវិទូនៃនាយកដ្ឋានអភិរក្សប្រាសាទ និងបុរាណវិទ្យារបស់អាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរា អ្នកស្រី នេត ស៊ីមន មានប្រសាសន៍ថា ចម្លាក់ថ្មបុរាណដែលគេប្រទះឃើញនោះ មានដូចជា រូបព្រះពុទ្ធគង់ភ្នែនប្រក់នាគចំនួន២ រូបលោកកេស្វរៈចំនួន១ រូបព្រះពុទ្ធគង់ភ្នែនប្រក់នាគបាក់ព្រះកេសទម្រង់សមាធិ និងបាក់ព្រះហស្តទាំងសងចំនួន២ និងថ្មកំពូលហោជាង ដែលមានចម្លាក់រូបព្រះពុទ្ធគង់ភ្នែន មានទេពទ្រពីក្រោម១ផ្ទាំងទៀត។

អ្នកស្រី នេត ស៊ីមន បន្តទៀតថា រូបចម្លាក់ទាំងនោះបានកប់នៅក្រោមកំណកដីរបស់ខឿនខ្លោងទ្វារខាងត្បូងនៃប្រាសាទតាព្រហ្ម ហើយក្រុមការងារបានប្រទះឃើញនៅពេលដែលអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាសហការជាមួយស្ថាប័នស្រាវជ្រាវបុរាណវិទ្យាឥណ្ឌា(ASI)ចាប់ផ្ដើមការងារជួសជុលខ្លោងទ្វារនេះឡើងវិញ ដោយបានរើថ្មនៃរចនាសម្ពន្ធខ្លោងទ្វារដែលនៅរាយប៉ាយដើម្បីរៀបចំទៅតាមទីតាំងដើមឡើងវិញតាមបច្ចេកទេសអាណាស្ទីឡូ កាលពីពាក់កណ្ដាលខែវិច្ឆិកា៕

APSARA National Authority’s restoration team found six ancient sandstone statues at the Ta Prohm restoration site.

An archaeologist from the Department of Conservation of Monuments and Preventive Archaeology of the APSARA National Authority, Neth Simon, said that the ancient statues found included two statues of Buddha Sheltered by a Naga, one Avalokiteśvara and two Buddha statues with a broken head, and hands as well as one pediment, which has a carving of the Buddha.

Ms. Neth Simon said that the statues were buried under the platform of the Southern Gate of Ta Prohm Temple. The team found them when the APSARA National Authority in cooperation with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) began to restore the gate. The stones of the gate structure were removed and relocated to their original location by Anastylosis technique in mid-November.
