Public order agents install poles and plant grasses to enhance the green landscape around the Bayon Temple
In addition to their core work, the public agents in Angkor Thom have been involved in installing poles on the side of the road near the Bayon Temple to prevent all kinds of vehicles from entering or parking near the temple, as well as planting grass to enhance the greenery around the Bayon temple.
Ms. Neou Chenda, a public agent at the Bayon Temple, said that the pole installation and grass planting have four locations: west, south, east, and north of Bayon Temple where there are big trees. Ms. Chenda said that before preparing to install the poles and plant glasses, some places were parked in a disorderly manner. But after planting the grass, the places are green and there is no more parking. The team will take care of the grasses to keep them green in all seasons.
The public order agents involved in this work are happy to help maintain the beauty of the temple and good order in the Angkor Thom area, especially at Bayon Temple. This activity will also change from vacant land to green grass in all seasons, enhance the cultural landscape, and can also attract more tourists to visit.
