នៅតាមការដ្ឋានជួសជុលប្រាសាទនានាក្នុងរមណីយដ្ឋានអង្គរ ក្រៅតែពីឃើញមានបុរសនិងស្រ្តីជាប្រធានគ្រប់គ្រងការដ្ឋាន ក្នុងនោះក៏មានបុរស និងស្រ្តី ដែលជាកម្មការិនីចូលរួមធ្វើការងារនេះចម្រុះគ្នា។ តួយ៉ាង នៅការដ្ឋានជួសជុលប្រាសាទត្រពាំងល្ពៅ ឬត្រពាំងរពៅ គេឃើញមានស្រ្តីជាច្រើនជិតស្មើនិងក្រុមបុរស មានសកម្មភាពមមាញឹកបម្រើការងារលើវិស័យអភិរក្ស និងជួសជុលប្រាសាទឥដ្ឋ។ ករណីនេះបញ្ជាក់ឱ្យឃើញថា ស្រ្តីក៏ជាផ្នែកមួយសំខាន់ក្នុងការចូលរួមអភិរក្ស និងជួសជុលប្រាសាទបុរាណដែរ។

ពលការិនីម្នាក់ទៀត អ្នកស្រី ចិ ឌី រស់នៅភូមិថ្នល់ទទឹង ស្រុកបន្ទាយស្រី បានចូលបម្រើការងារនៅអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាតាំងពីឆ្នាំ២០០៤ ជាភ្នាក់ងារទេសចរណ៍។ កាលពីឆ្នាំ២០១៣ បានផ្លាស់ប្ដូរមកជួសជុលប្រាសាទឥដ្ឋដែរ បានឱ្យដឹងថា អ្នកស្រីធ្លាប់ចូលរួមជួសជុលប្រាសាទភ្នំបាខែង ប្រាសាទគោកចក និងចុងក្រោយកំពុងជួសជុលនៅប្រាសាទត្រពាំងល្ពៅ។ ក្នុងរយៈពេល១០ឆ្នាំមកនេះ អ្នកស្រី ចិ ឌី ក៏មានបទពិសោធន៍ច្រើនដូចក្រុមការងារផ្សេងទៀតលើបច្ចេកទេសជួសជុលប្រាសាទឥដ្ឋ និងការងារផ្សេងៗ ដែលប្រធានគ្រប់គ្រងបានចាត់ចែងឱ្យធ្វើដែរ។ អ្នកស្រី ចិ ឌី បង្ហាញអារម្មណ៍ថា មុនពេលជួសជុលឃើញប្រាសាទបុរាណរលុះបាក់ ខ្លះរហែកជាពីរ គឺមានអារម្មណ៍សង្វែកខ្លាំង ក៏ប៉ុន្តែ បន្ទាប់ពីក្រុមការងារជួសជុលមានភាពរឹងមាំ មានលំនឹងឡើងវិញ ក្នុងនាមជាអ្នកជួសជុលក៏សប្បាយចិត្ត។ អ្នកស្រី ចិ ឌី បានប្រាប់ថា ការងាររបស់អ្នកស្រីពេលខ្លះគឺមានអារម្មណ៍ថា ហត់នឿយដែរ ក៏ប៉ុន្តែដោយហេតុតែស្រឡាញ់ក៏ចេះតែព្យាយាមខំប្រឹងមិនដកថយ គិតតែស៊ូៗទៅមុខទៀត ដើម្បីទុកសម្រាប់កូនចៅទៅមុខទៀត។

Women join in restoring ancient temples with perseverance and love
At the temple restoration sites in Angkor, in addition to seeing men and women as site managers, some men and women are workers involved in this work together. For example, at the restoration site of Trapeang Lpeou temple, many women and men are busy working in the field of conservation and repair of brick temples. This case proves that women are also an essential part of participating in the conservation and restoration of ancient temples.
One of the workers at Trapeang Lpeou temple, Men Roeun, a 43-year-old resident of Nokor Krao village, has been working for the APSARA National Authority since 2000 as a tourism agent at the temple. In 2013, She was transferred from the tourism agent at the temple to a brick temple restoration team. Ms. Men Roeun said that when she first started working as a temple repairer, she had a hard time because she had no previous experience in this field. At first, even mixing mortar was not easy. She thought to herself that she had no idea how far she could do this work, but because of her love, she had been working to repair the temple for 10 years and has been involved in repairing the Kork Chak temple, Kravan temple, and currently Trapeang Lpeou temple.
For the past 10 years, Ms. Men Roeun has been proficient in many skills, such as the technique of repairing brick temples, how to make lime mortar, cleaning the site, repairing, sealing, strengthening bricks, and learning to sketch the temple layout, etc.
Another worker, Ms. Che Dy, who lives in Thnal Toteung village, Banteay Srei district, joined the APSARA National Authority in 2004 as a tourism agent. In 2013, she moved to repair the brick temple, she said, she used to help repair Phnom Bakheng temple, Kork Chak, and finally Trapeang Lpeou temple. Over the past 10 years, Ms. Che Dy has had as much experience as the rest of the team on the techniques of repairing the brick temple and other tasks assigned by the site manager. She expressed the feeling that before the restoration of the ancient temple, She saw some ruined temples, and she felt very sad, but after the restoration team worked hard to restore those temples and regained their strength as a temple repairer, she was happy.
Ms. Chidi said that her work sometimes feels tiring, but because of love, she always tries not to give up, thinking only to persevere in those temples for future generations.
Both Ms. Men Roeun and Ms. Che Dy expressed their excitement as the team, both men and women, worked together to repair the dilapidated brick temple. This also makes their family proud. As the temple repairers, they want every Cambodian to know that there are repair marks in ancient temples, which proves that this generation of Cambodians has taken care of the restoration and conservation. Therefore, in the future, the next generation would continue the work of restoration and conservation.
