ខ្លោងទ្វារខាងលិចរបស់ប្រាសាទតាព្រហ្ម ដែលជាច្រកចេញ-ចូលសំខាន់ក្នុងវង់ទស្សនានៃប្រាសាទនេះ ត្រូវបានបើកឱ្យធ្វើចរាចរធម្មតាឡើងវិញ កាលពីដើមខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៣នេះ ក្រោយពីអាជ្ញាធរជាតិអប្សរាសហការជាមួយឥណ្ឌា បានបិតផ្អាកចរាចរជាបណ្តោះអាសន្ននៅដើមខែមករាកន្លងទៅ ដើម្បីរៀបចំទល់ទ្រធ្នឹមផ្នែកខាងកើត ដែលបានរហែកប្រេះចំពាក់កណ្តាល ឱ្យមានសុវត្ថិភាពទាំងតួខ្លោងទ្វារ និងភ្ញៀវទេសចរដើរឆ្លងកាត់។

ក្រុមការងារគម្រោងសហប្រតិបត្តិការឥណ្ឌា-កម្ពុជាដើម្បីអភិរក្ស និងជួសជុលប្រាសាទតាព្រហ្ម លោក ចាន់ ឡាយ បានឱ្យដឹងថា ដោយសារអាយុកាលសំណង់ និងកត្តាធ្មជាតិផង ធ្វើឱ្យស្រុតគ្រឹះ និងធ្នឹមផ្នែកខាងកើតនៃខ្លោងទ្វារនេះបានរហែកប្រេះដោយសារទម្ងន់សង្កត់ពីខាងលើ។ លោក ចាន់ ឡាយ បន្តថា បច្ចេកទេសនៃការងារទល់ទ្រនេះ ក្រុមការងារមិនបានរើថ្មចេញនោះឡើយ ដោយប្រើដាក់ដែកពីខាងក្នុង រៀបចំតធ្នឹម និងដាក់ឱ្យស្មើឡើងវិញនៅទីតាំងដើម។

លោក ចាន់ ឡាយ បញ្ជាក់ថា ការងារទល់ទ្របានបញ្ចប់ដោយជោគជ័យ ឥឡូវនេះតួខ្លោងទ្វាររឹងមាំ មានសុវត្ថិភាពឡើងវិញ ភ្ញៀវអាចដើរឆ្លងកាត់ ថតផ្តិតរូបភាព ស្វែងយល់ស្លាកព័ត៌មាន មុននឹងចូលទៅទស្សនាប្រាសាទនៅខាងក្នុង។ បន្ថែមពីលើនេះ ក្រុមការងារក៏នៅតែពិនិត្យតាមដានជាប្រចាំ ជៀសវាងមានហានិភ័យផ្សេងៗកើតឡើងជាយថាហេតុផង៕

The west gate of Ta Prohm, the main entrance to the temple, was reopened to tourists in early February 2023 after the APSARA National Authority, in cooperation with India, temporarily closed in early January, to put maintained support to the beams in the middle to ensure the safety of the gate and the tourists passing through.

The team member of the India-Cambodia Cooperation Project for the Preservation and Restoration of Ta Prohm, Mr. Chan Lay, said that due to the age of construction and natural factors, the foundation and beams of the gate were damaged due to the pressure from above. He added that in the technique of this work, the team did not remove the stones, but used steel from the inside to prepare the beam and level it in the original position.

Mr. Chan Lay confirmed that this work has been completed, and now the gate is strong and safe again, so tourists can walk through to take pictures to find information labels before visiting the temple inside. In addition, the team also monitors regularly to avoid any possible risks.
