There are three main aspects consecutive senses of carvings about ceremony related to buffalo on the wall in the southeast corner of outside gallery of Bayon temple. The sculpture is in the top, we consider that it is about bringing the buffalo for the king to watch and other ceremonies. In the middle carvings, have shown about buffalo is tied to a stake and there are two Brahmins sitting on the elephant, are chanting. Then all the soldiers, who going to fight in the war, have to use their weapon to kill that buffalo before moving towards the battle field.
On 26 April 2017, APSARA Authority will hold a presentation under the theme "Discover the lives of prehistoric people through the study of ceramics", which will be presented by Mr. TSE Siang Lim, doctoral student at the Australian National University at Angkor Training Center. The presentation will begin at 2 pm onwards.
