The Technical Session of ICC-Angkor was launched on the morning of December 13th, 2017, focusing on the technical reports of the project teams, which is operating in Angkor site. The meeting was presided over by H. E. Ms. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and President of APSARA Authority including co-chaired by France and Japan.
In the afternoon of December 12th, 2017, APSARA Authority hands over a golden crown, which was found in the renovation of Ta Prohm's dance hall in 2012, along with some of the ancient artifacts that were kept at APSARA in the past to the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.
Two groups of expert, who are in charge of conservation and sustainable development work of the International Committee for Coordination of Protection and Development of Angkor Archaeological Site (ICC-Angkor) have monitored some of the work done at the site of renovation in the Angkor site. The visit is scheduled to take place before the ICC-Angkor meeting on the 13th and 14th of December 2017 at the APSARA headquarters.
