International Archaeologists share knowledge on Copper Alloy Sculpture Techniques and History to the public at APSARA Authority

On January 11th, 2018 at the Angkor Training Center of APSARA Authority, there will be a presentation about Copper Alloy Sculpture Techniques and History by an International Interdisciplinary Group coming from many countries such as: France, Britain, the United States, Belgium and Lux Samson Strasbourg to present the study Researchers melting liquid bronze and the results found so far.

Also, in Cambodia, the largest bronze site in the Angkor Thom palace was found in Southeast Asia. Hence, APSARA Authority would like to invite the general public, students, officials, tour guides, national and international researchers who wish to learn more about technical knowledge about Synthetic Metals in the morning of 11th January 2018 at 8.00 am to 11.30 PM, at Angkor Training Center of APSARA.

APSARA Authority announces to the public, who have purchased a plot of land from Golden Land Real Estate Co., Ltd., located in Thlok Andong Village, Sangkat Slor Kram, Siem Reap Town, Siem Reap Province ( Road 60m or Angkor Kyung Yu) to conduct a field inspection with the Inter-ministerial Resolve Land and Tourism Policy Center at APSARA Authority to avoid accidental damage eventually. Japanese Quality Assurance has conducted annual auditing of Angkor Environmental Management of APSARA Authority from 16th to 18th January 2018. The launch of the audit was held on the morning of 16th January, presided over by H.E Mr. Sok Leakena, Director of Angkor Environmental Management Unit of APSARA Authority including Mr. Kozo Sakurada and Mr. Yamada Mamoru, JQA auditors.
The Southeast gallery of Churning of the Ocean of Milk at Angkor Wat will have wooden ceiling restored. The wooden ceiling of this gallery is a collaborative project of APSARA Authority and World Monuments Fund (WMF).
In the morning of January 15, 2018, PAAGERA's Project for Cleaning Water and Water Management organized a presentation on the Results of the Sanitation Marketing Pilot Project to share experiences to 35 staffs of APSARA Authority.
