Angkor Photo Exhibition at Huangshan Mountain in China is officially launched

100 photos, which showed about the ancient monuments, environment and traditions in the region of Angkor, were inaugurated to officially exhibit on August 26, 2017. This opening ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Kong Xiahong, Mayor of Huangshan town, H.E. Mr. Sok Sangvar, Deputy Director General of APSARA Authority and Mr. So Platong, Mayor of Siem Reap town. This ceremony was held in Xihai hotel on Huangshan Mountain, Anhui province, China.
Speaking at the ceremony, H.E. Mr. Kong Xiahong expressed his warm welcome to the Cambodian delegation and highlighted about the closed cooperation between Cambodia and China. He also thanked APSARA for its leadership and working group, which has cooperated well with Huangshan Scenic Area Administrative Committee as an international cooperation partner and a World Heritage Tourism Organization.
H.E. Mr. Sok Sangvar, also thanked the Huangshan Governor and Huangshan Scenic Area Administrative Committee for welcoming the warmest delegates, especially for organizing Angkor Photo Exhibition at this time. He also recalled the good relationship between Cambodian and Chinese government - and recounted the history of friendship since ancient times until today, under the wise leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia has maintained closed cooperation. He also highlighted the collaboration between the APSARA and various Chinese institutions on the temple renovation, agricultural development, technology, and tourism development.
