The illegal construction, which was built during commune election campaign along the road from Siem Reap International Airport to Angkor Wat in Veal Village, Kork Chak district, belonging to Mrs. Oeum Sreypich, was reshuffled by the Joint Committee on August 15th, 2017 after the owner broke the promise to demolish it by herself for several times.
According to the Joint Committee, this construction is in the list of demolition because the construction site is not legally authorized. The reason for the reshuffle as the team has already notified the construction site owner and the owner of this construction agreed to reshuffle within three days to avoid damaging on the property. However, she just demolished a little bit of this construction, so the joint committee decided to demolish it directly avoiding the construction owner keep delaying this work.
