A lot of building owners are willing to demolish their buildings on the second day of illegal constructions demolition in Angkor Park

In a campaign to remove illegal constructions in Angkor Park on the second day of August 11, 2017, the Joint Committee reported that the owners in the four target areas such as Siem Reap town, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei and Prasat Bakong district were mostly responsible for demolishing the illegal constructions by themselves.

The total number of volunteer demolition is reported that there were 31 cases such as: seven cases in Siem Reap town, two cases in Prasat Bakong district, twenty cases Banteay Srei district and two cases in Angkor Thom district. It should be highlighted that the constructions were included for both small and large.

The Angkor site, as well as the whole of Siem Reap, has been hit by recent rainfall. According to the forecast of some provincial water authorities, including Siem Reap province, which there will be continuous rainfall on 13th to 22nd in this October.
