Royal Government of Cambodia sends a message to all Cambodians for celebration after Sambo Prei Kuk is registered as a World Heritage Site

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of Kingdom of Cambodia, on the evening of July 9, 2017, sent a message to all Cambodians relating to the national pride that Sambor Prei Kuk Site was inscribed on a World Heritage List on July 8, 2017.
With this message the head of government called for all institutions to celebrate a drum beating ceremony at 10 am on 10 July 2017 to express about national pride for this historical event.
The decision to enter Sambor Prei Kuk as a new UNESCO World Heritage Site, were made in the 41st Session of the World Heritage Committee, held from 02-12 July 2017, which has 193 member states and 21 countries as the Standing Committee approved to inscribe Sambor Prei Kuk as a World Heritage Site at 9:40 pm (Cambodian time) on 8 July 2017 in Krakow, Poland.
